Lead SAP ABAP on HANA Developer (Migration Specialist)

We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Developer with a deep focus on S/4HANA Brownfield Migrations. You will be responsible for the technical evolution of our legacy ECC 6.0 system, ensuring that custom code is remediated, optimized, and modernized for the S/4HANA 2023+ environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Conversion Execution: Lead the technical remediation of custom code following the Simplification List and S/4HANA Readiness Checks.
  • Custom Code Remediation: Analyze and fix functional gaps in RICEFW objects caused by data model changes (e.g., MATDOC, ACDOCA, and BP transformation).
  • Performance Evolution: Use ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) and SQL Monitor to identify and optimize "expensive" legacy code for the HANA database.
  • Modernization: Transition classic ALV and Dynpro reports into Fiori-based apps using OData services and CDS Views.
  • Data Consistency: Manage complex data mapping and conversion logic during the cutover phase to ensure zero data loss during the move from ECC.
Required Skills
  • Migration Toolkit: Expert knowledge of SAP Readiness Check, ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), and SCMON (S/4HANA Custom Code Migration Worklist).
  • HANA Optimization: Advanced proficiency in AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), CDS Views (with VDM experience), and Open SQL enhancements.
  • Integration & UI: Extensive experience in OData (Gateway/SEGW) and knowledge of the ABAP Programming Model for SAP Fiori (RAP/BOPF).
  • S/4HANA Data Model: Deep understanding of the architectural shifts, specifically the Business Partner (CVI) approach and the Universal Journal.
  • Interface Remediation: Experience updating IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs that are impacted by the S/4HANA simplification.
